Feeling of relaxed appointment when nervous about returning to dentist following post Covid lack of dentistry. I used to attend this clinic but switched to an NHS one when pregnant. Now returned as my NHS dentist no longer treating and I feel comfortable with the practice.

I lost part of a filling and I rang the reception for an appointment with my dentist. She was on holiday but I was given an appointment with another dentist for a couple of days later. I was asked if I was in pain and I said it was mild discomfort. The dentist I saw explained clearly the treatment he was giving and asked me throughout the treatment if I was comfortable with what he was doing. It all went very smoothly.

Everything about the practice is professional. Clean,welcoming and friendly. My dentist is excellent and his nurse lovely. The hygienist is thorough and very pleasant.I no longer worry about my visit.

The way all staff put you at ease and treat you like an old friend on arrival. The atmosphere is cordial and it’s easy to forget you are entering a dentist’s surgery for treatment which may not be pleasant. However in my case despite being somewhat nervous I found the whole episode was really a breeze.

I am an extremely nervous patient, this was recognised and everyone was so understanding, patient and put me at ease. I didn’t feel I was being rushed. The procedure was explained and I was talked to throughout. I felt very safe and left feeling happy and brave enough to make a check up appt for 6 months time on my way out.

I was expecting and had requested an extraction. My dentist listened to my reasons and sympathised with my position. When she had ascertained that I was not in any serious pain , she outlined an alternative treatment plan that could rid me of my discomfort but also save my tooth. She felt strongly that this line of treatment was in my best interest as I could quite soon find myself with a two tooth, visable gap.She treated me with respect and kindness throughout the consultation and I was able to accept her advice.
